Good thing I decided to fire up everything tonight....
I had the bose speakers crackle out and totally die while running my VSA singing pumpkins just an hour ago so I was in a mad scramble to find replacements.
Then one of my lanterns shorted out and had to be re-wired.
After all of that I didn't have time to test the motion sensors for my coffins so I might just run them manually so I have better contol as it is.
Wow, what a hot and crazy night.

2 of my lanterns did not work. Took them apart and they started working for me. Did a run through with hubby and my daughter and realized she cannot stop giggling through her SILENT walk to scare trick or treaters...lol Had to change a few things around as far as lighting because what I thought would work turned out to be horrible. Other than that all is good!

i had breaker BURN OUT! not pop but burn out. noticed light flickering in the house and smelled the stench of electrical burn. found out after removing the fuse panel that who ever lived here prior put 2 20amp lines on one 20 amp breaker! so now the lines are on their own breakers. that could have been a fire tomorrow night! yay for dry runs. would have been the most convincing fire effect though! lol

It looks like all my stuff is working at this point. One of my motion sensor triggered props goes off on it's own every once in a while which worries me but it's been pretty infrequent. I've had one of my sound boxes double trigger a few times too but it's also rare.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

One of our servos blew last night while testing
Not going to take it all apart at this stage in the game. Now we have a 3 axis minus 3 skull lol But he still looks good playing that organ haha
Everything else ran and looks great though!

We found out that our CD player won't play CD-RWs. It will play any commercially produced music fine and regular burned CDs, but not RWs. Quick re-burn solved the problem, but that's bizarre.
We had a last minute change this morning. Our fog test ran great last night but we found out that the house has considerable ventiliation - a lot of the fog was outside. Our butcher is in the fog room, so we're going to try to have him use a real gas-powered chainsaw instead of our prop with a CD. We'll have our actor near an open window and the opposite door will be open, I think we'll be ok. MUCH better with the real thing!
Also learned that RIT dye does NOT settle in water. Our blood-filled jars look massively wicked!!!! Like real blood!
3 hours to go till set up starts, whoo hoooooo!!! I am bouncing off the walls right now (and that's without candy!)
