Yet another weather thread

So late last night, myself and a friend finished up the haunted garage plus trail that goes around the house. Wednesday and Thursday it was consistant rain. We just put our hoods up and worked through it. Everything was looking great. 9 different dummies, a handfull of animatronics, lighting, fog, tombstones.. the works!

Anyhow, all week the weather has been threatening to snow on Halloween. This changed yesterday. I woke up this morning to extremly nasty gusts of wind. Dummies are all doing the limbo and I am not really sure where the styrofoam half of my graveyard went. I guess it is a good thing that I invited my neighbors tonight. I am sure some of them will be walking up with tombstone in hand!

same here!! I went outside today to find more than half of my tombstones were scattered throughout the yard due to heavy wind & non stop rain!! I won't put anything out until tommarrow... suppose to be nice out tomm night, thank god!

The wind is supposed to pick up here in Michigan tonight and tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed that I'm not chasing down tombstones in the morning. Anyone know any druidic fair weather rites?

I have been OBSESSED with checking the weather every hour! Its pouring today, but tomorrow its supposed to be partly sunny with only a ten percent chance of rain! Heres hoping nothing changes and a dry Halloween for all!

Here in Canada (at least my general area) we had lots of rain this morning..GREAT sunshine outside now with a small gust of wind..but it is sunny now..and promises to be nice tomorrow..windy if anything..

N.E. Ohio....BEAUTIFUL and warm here TODAY. Tonight is suppose to be rain and wind, rain in to the day, one t.v. station says...DRY trick or treat.......another says rain......who knows...I have 2 plans...one for rain one for dry........either way..TRICK OR TREATING will go on!!!!!

The weather channel and its website have been nothing but a tease to me. 10%..then 20% 50% back to 10% then to 40% now its at 50% again...I have been watching that system move towards me and I am cringing. We are a one night show..probably like a lot of people. I dont want it to rain on anybody but I hope that system holds off

I cant complain as the rain has stopped and we have no snow like some other poor folks.Its gonna be windy and brisk,but better then alot of folks.

well it started raining tonight at about 6 pm here had to ran out cover up the pumpkin rot , witches , close the gypsy tent , etc....

tomorow weather is rain in the afternoon and high winds this makes me want to give up halloween for next year if i cant have the props i bought and made out and running properly .....Yes you read correclty , after 7 years i always come back bigger and we havent had bad weather like this on halloween before , maybe the weekend before but never at halloween day /night , but this years weather is just making me wanna give up

Awe Witch...I know how you feel. I fret about the weather too.

Try not to let it get you down, you have a beautiful set up and I'm sure that whatever modifications you have to make because of the weather won't take away from the fact that it is still fantastic!!
