Hey guys! The company I work for actually did something for Halloween. They supplied a spaghetti dinner for everyone. Plus they had a pumpkin carving contest, a draw plus the members of management got all dressed up!
They do this every year actually and I love it!

    Does your company do something?

The dinner and pumpkin carving contest sound fun. I work in retail and we are allowed to dress up on halloween but thats about where it ends.

We are lucky to get even paychecks every two weeks, much less spend money on Halloween.

At my work it's called harvest. there is a potluck and costume contest. we are not allowed to decorate at all but we can for x-mas which pisses me off.

Last year we had a spooky potluck but they did a chili cook-off a few weeks ago which was in November last year so we didn't get to do anything. They also had a costume contest but some of us work in a cleanroom so we can't dress up. Lots of people wore orange. Don't know if the office people dressed up, I only work Mon-Thurs.

We used to do a lot more than we do now. We would decorate by departments; everyone was encouraged to wear a costume; we would have costume contests, decorating contests, pumpkin carving contests; we would make haunted rooms for the kids; and we would have the kids (not just our own) come in to trick-or-treat. It was loads of fun. But, we changed management and now all we do is have the kids trick-or-treat. We try to get by with more, though. We scheduled a clean up day today, so we get to wear jeans, and we're having a food day, so it's still fun!
