Thread: What will you be doing next week?

The week after Halloween is always such a letdown for me. I've planned for it for so long that I can't remember what it's like not to have Halloween projects in the works, yet I'm not ready to start on next year's stuff. I know I need a break from it to prevent burn-out but I'm just not ready for it to be over either!
Anybody else get the post Halloween blues? What do you plan to be doing next week instead of working on Halloween?

I am going to be tearing everything apart. I have a feeling it is going to be more work then I think it will be. It isn't even Halloween yet and I am having the let down.

I know exactly what I'll be doing... cleaning up! Breaking everything down and getting it stored will take the whole week and all of next weekend (or longer). After that it's back to my regularly scheduled hobbies... camping and abandoned mine exploring.

I'll have most of mine broken down but, not put away. On Thur. we are flying out to Mass. to check a place in Provincetown to get married at. We already have res. for the hotel but, want to make sure we like it and we need to set up caiterers and such.
I'm going to wait until the end of Nov. to try and start on my 3 axis I bought.

Trying to find a nice home for my stalkabout, she has grown and I hate to see her leave. It will be a sad week, but it is giving me space and for monster mud reapers and a cemetary gate and fence. So I hope to start building for next year.

I'll be packing it all away. Then I'll start Christmas shopping!

After Halloween i will work on the xmas lights in the front of the house. Just can't get over how fast Halloween is here? Next year im going to setup earlier for Halloween!!!

BIG Halloween Blues for me!

I have been working on things since february and since my party last week I have found myself wandering around a little lost. It is good that the pressure is off as I was getting a little stressed towards the end but I still loved every moment. I will take a break for the Xmas period and try to enthuse about it as much as I can for the sake of my daughter, but Halloween will start again in Feb/Mar

Ditto on the christmas lights and planning...

I will be sitting in my family room, Lazy Boy in recline, beer in hand, pretending that everything has been repaired, broken down and stowed for next year.
