This day came direct from God or the gods or Mother Nature or whom/whatever.
In SoCal the seasons can be difficult to distinguish...but today, the wind is blowing leaves off the deciduous trees (we do have handfuls of these, particularly in suburbia) and skittering them along my walkway and down the driveway with that "shush-shush" sound. It's somewhere in the low 60s...I think. It's sunny but not super warm. It's crisp.
It's the perfect day and I'm grateful for it. I have a bunch of windows open to let the autumn in. My littlest son is sick today and just wants to sit inside watching Elmo, so I'll be going outside to sit on the stoop and keeping the door open (to watch my son) as often as I can.
Great day!!!!!!!!!!! It feels like Halloween...

Ha ha, nope, done. I can save some props, maybe, from this wind! I don't mind. My cemetery looks even more ghoulish with a stone or two lying flat. Actually, it looks awesome. Very creepy and haunted. I don't mind it a bit for now and today, I can just look out at it all day and enjoy it!!

I hate you! jk. The weather in MN is still sucky. It was supposed to be in the 50's today and of course the rain will start tonight. Well, as my god likes practical jokes, it's very windy and about 40 degrees. I'm out trying to spray spiderwebs and it's so cold they don't want to shoot and I'm constantly cleaning the nosel and myself. I quit with about a 5th of what I did last year since when it started to rain I finally threw in the towel. Now it's going to rain for the next two days and be a high of 38-45 on Halloween. brrrrr!
