After Halloween what do you do with your decorations?

Especially if you don't have room for them anymore, you don't like them, or they are damaged?

if an item can be fixed or made into something else I keep it. Other items are given away or traded.

I'll usually give mine away, but if it's worth money I might try to sell it first.

We rent a 10' x 24' storage garage to keep everything in. It was packed to the rafters last year, and we have some new things this year that we're not sure what to do with. We may have to rent another garage.

Things like webbing get trashed, but everything that can be reused is stored. The hubby said as long as he can still park his car in the garage, I can keep the stuff. Fortunately, he likes little cars!

I'm getting to the point where there are a large quantity of props that I haven't used in a while, as I no longer like them or aren't fitting with my theme. I may be culling through some of the boxes and seeing if a few fledgling haunters I know want the stuff - I've gotten a few folks (friends/co-workers) that have expressed interest in Halloween decorating - more than just sticking a JOL on the porch.

New blood is always a good thing, and if some of my props help, that's even better!

I've stored mine for years but, our space is really getting cramped. We have to climb over things in the garage all year round to get through my stuff. I even have my muscle car doing double duty as a storage shelf. Now afte building a bottomless pit, 4 crosses for scarecrows and fencing for my graveyard, I'm at wits end. Oh, and then there is the toe pincher coffin! I think some things will go on the wood pile this year with plastic over them. Damn, then there is the huge outhouse too. OMG, we need a bigger house!
