Sunday I put some decoration in the front lawn that i transform in a cemetery and by Monday afternoon i looked outside to realize i was missing a tombstone the one i had put a black bird on top .So here i go outside to see what was going on and to my surprise the tombstone was flat on the ground and the thief was siting in front of it trying to figure out how to get that damn bird to move . My friend 's cat Maggie Mae who weight almost 30 pounds decided it was easier just to jump on the tombstone and try to get that big bird than running and trying to catch the real one . Lucky as i am the wood part that i glue behind it to secure it from the wind didn't stay glue and fell down flat instead of breaking in 2 .
The scene of her trying to play with the bird was so funny just one regret is that i wasn't fast enough to get a camera and snap a pic of it .

I have had real thieves and vandals in the past. But the majority of the destruction this year is from my beagle. He thinks that my constant Halloween decorating is some type of game...
So far he has gotten a black crow, a severed head, a tombstone, and 2 packages of spider web.
Lol .. So not only do we have to worry about human thieves and vandals but now we got to worry about other members of the animal kingdom
PS. Thanks for posting a funny story. My heart dropped when I read the title of your thread but I was laughing after I finished reading your post.Darkness has a hunger that's insatiable

LOL! A cat burgler is better than a human one.
Eventhough I am Dead it is always warm inside my bed.

yeah, it was a funny story. At first I was thinking of how ticked off I would be and how I would make them pay until you mentioned the cat. lol Only my plastic stuff goes out now. On the big day then everthing else comes out. The worse we have had like that is squirrels trying to eat the pumpkins on our porch in the past. I really don't have to worry about thieves anymore. I took all my big plastic pumpkins and drilled holes in the back and ran a chain through them. I also put our address on the bottoms. Then I take them and paddlock them to our trees. I did that after the first year someone stole a large plastic pumpkin out of our back yard and tore down some hanging pumpkin lights off our garage.
