Well the weather destroyed my maze yesterday. And so we rebuilt it back up using what I had left over. And today we just had a gust of wind rip it back down again so we wont have a maze this year we will just hand out candy and maybe put a couple of props out.
So I hope everyone one else has a great Halloween.
Don't worry about me remember I just bought a building Im going pro next year.

Damn the wind. I was actually watching the weather forecast, so in anticipation of the wind and rain last night I took down most of the props didn't have much a chance of making till Saturday. In addition, I went out and bought metal fence post and secured the wood fences and other things to these after I put them a foot+ into the ground. Looks like I made it through last nights storm. Just hope for a good Friday and Saturday night. Weather is projected to be in the 60's both days, but 60% chance or rain Friday night and Saturday.

Yeah, don't know where this wind came from. The prediction was for rain, but no mention of wind. Been dealing with the high winds all month (2 nor'easters in one weekend).
My wife calls me at work to give me the "good" news. My pipe organ prop has survived all month through all the wind and rain. One gust of wind today and it goes down taking out 2 other props. Cn't wait to get home and see what else I have to repair.

Ok I think I found a way to make this work and beat the weather.
So I asked my wife if I could set up a path through the house and only allow the ones that want to walk through. She agreed but I do all the work, LOL
I guess there hope after all I'll post pics of my set up.

We have had some really windy days here in Northern California during the last week or so. The majority of my set up fared pretty. I did have to add some "Ballast" to my ship's mast though (About 200 pounds worth of brick pavers!).
Yesterday one of my "Crew" (At least the bottom half) went AWOL into a neighbors yard! He is the lightweight plastic skeleton hanging off the left side of the ship's catwalk:
Thank ye matey, from the bottom of me scurvy heart......"One Eye'd" Mick
The ships' doctor warned me that I've been partaking in too much wine, women and song and told me that I should cut back a bit.........I am really going to miss the singing.....

Blowing here today also. But it should clear up by Friday and I can finish setting up. I set up the walls for my FCG Crypt, which is made out of fabric, but I left the roof of anticipating the wind. So far, so good!! Just some dead trees I staked up that need to be set up. Im glad I took the sime to stake everything down this year!!

Yeah my cemetery is all over the place right now. Every tombstone knocked down. Waiting for the wind to die down before I rebuild.
Garage haunt is fine though
PS - Im thinking of going pro next year too!
