I'm a big fan of video surveillance but a hunting buddy of mine said using game cameras hunters use to track movements of deer, elk etc. might be a great way to go without going to the expense of a full video system!

Of course now he tells me just days before the big event right?

Those are extremely effective for catching someone in the act. But for me they are too discrete as I prefer to deter the act in the first place. Also, if someone was even lightly disguised (which they will be on Halloween) these become useless and even may increase frustration if you had stuff actually stolen/vandalized. Nothing like seeing the act being perpetrated by someone in a Michael Myers mask.
Just my thoughts..
Those would be great for catching people's reactions when your pop-up send them skittering through the neighborhood.Check out the Pirate and Tiki theme albums

We bought a game camera earlier this fall, and installed it last weekend. I have yet to pull the card and see what's on it, though. We've had no monkey business to date, but I'm curious about the quality of the pics. I think it will be a good supplement to our night vision security camera, which can't cover all access points to the cemetery...
I'm going to pull the card tomorrow or Friday and check it out. If the pics are impressive, I'll post a couple and see if I can find a link to the camera we bought if anyone else is interested for next year.Gothikim
