I am so pleased My family came today with the truck to take everything out of the basement and over to my motherinlaws house . It took 4 trips to get everything there!! It is a hassel every halloween to get it there but it is so worth it.Is there anyone else on here that decorates someone else house because of there location or just unable to decorate their own?

We decorate both our house and our friend's house. However most of our decorations and the best of our decorations are used for the Halloween party at our friends house. In addition, we borrow lights and foggers from my husband's work and only use them at our friend's house.

We do this for a couple of reasons: My friend's house is more central, our neighbors are difficult, and our neighborhood has no parking.

We do the decorating, our friend does the food, we share responsibilty for the games and prizes, and our friends bring the alcohol.

However sometimes it sucks because we have to set up the day before and the day of, and take down the day after. And we spend a lot of time and money on props but never get the decorating glory. And we get enlisted (or forced) to provide decorations for other parties during the year.

We would like to start doing a party at our house again next year. (We will pay for a party bus to get people down here if we have to)
