We all plan out our Haunt each year, some of us months in advance and some a few weeks ago, but there just seems to be that 'ONE' item (whether it be a prop, mask, bloody body part, etc.) that we just can't find in the stores, online, or anywhere.
What is that 'ONE' item missing in this year's Haunt?
MINE: Witch head/mask - I looked high and low from stores such as Rite Aid to WalMart to Spirit of Halloween. Did an online search using Google to Ebay to Amazon, but could not find a decent and reasonable-priced one! I found one, I believe on Amazon, but it was over $150. Wasn't spending that type of money to put a mask on a Witch made with PVC pipe. he he he...

There wasn't really anything that I couldn't find, but since discovering this site, there are so many things I wanted to build for this year (ground breakers, pumpkinrot), but just didn't have enough time. Next year is going to be AWESOME!!!!

Last year I had a difficult time finding a reasonably priced witch mask too.
Several years ago I bought a thin foam face mask (witch) for my wife to use. It came with do it yourself make up and was in a formed, clear plastic package. I trimmed the package into a face mask for a styrofoam wig head, and hung some hair on her. I don't know if they still sell these, but you could check the makeup section of good costume store. BTW, I later added a more wicked nose and yellow LED eyes.
Three or four years ago I bought a full head skel / witch mask that is pretty creepy, but I haven't seen that one around for a long time.
Good luck. Please check my 2011 Haunt album here on HF. http://www.halloweenforum.com/member...ween-2011.html

Whats missing from my 2009 haunt is all the projects we started that are sitting around here & did not get done when Jerry started his lawn mower business. Ok,ok,ok, blood pressure!!!
He took that correspondence course to fix small engines & when he got done with it I am clueless where the heck all the people came from with their mowers. Needless to say that was the end of project building here!
So I'm sad cause we had so many neat things planned & here sit all the materials!

All the Gemmy products I love, that they discontinued.
The props I want but cost more than my car payment.
Eveything I bought on Ebay a week ago.
And my cemetary fence. My husband lured me outside with offers to help me finish it and then stuck me with yardwork instead.Darkness has a hunger that's insatiable
