LOL @ us Canadians having the best animal stories..from elk crashing props to other animals being scared..sorry about my spelling in the original post..lol I didn't proof read..and it was EARLY!!

Gazoo how is the weather there in NS, in Ontario here it isn't that bad we had great sunshine yesterday..went for a walk and all that..today it is a lovely fall day..orange, green leaves..sun peaking out..

On a side note people bring their little kids for walks around my home to check out the props and what not outside..lol..love it..

No dogs taking alternate routes here though..but that would be FUNNY to see..

My own dog is very happy that most of the bluckies have finally moved to the front yard. They totally freak her out when I have them standing around in the back - she refuses to go out at night to do her business unless I go out with her. Front yard is not so much of a problem - her eagerness to go for a walk outweighs the fright. But she does trot quickly down the front walk.

My one eyed dog ,Taz hates this singing skeleton I have in my foyer. He just attacks it & bites it, but I hope my outdoor props are scary enough to scare my neighbors lion if it gets loose. I been in this house going on 5 yrs. & I'm still afraid to go outside at night that that thing is going to come flying through the forest out back here. Gives me shivers!!

My dogs are terrified of our fog machine. My little dog also freaks out at masks.

My little heeler-mix, who thinks she's a pitbull, saw my grave digger when I first put him all together and tore out of that room barking and carrying on like the house was on fire! When I tried to go into the room to show her that it was ok, she started going in circles and blocking the doorway so I couldn't go in - she was protecting me from him! Since he was wearing my husband's old clothes, I got her to sniff him and then she decided he was ok. She still barks when she catches a glimpse of him out in the yard though!

We have 2 doxies. Auggie is afraid of it all. He tries to muster up the courage to get close to the props but once they start moving he's outta there. Now Snickers on the other hand....I ordered 2 things. One was this reaper guy. As I was taking him out of the box Snickers was grabbing on to his hand and trying to pull him out of the box. I had to literally keep pulling him off. Then I got my woman mourner, all dressed in black. Again trying to get her out of the box and Snickers was the official "helper". I bought this skeleton hand that crawls around on the floor. Auggie runs away from it, Snickers tries to pick it up and run away with it. It's all pretty comical. Snickers also stole my blucky's arm and didn't want to give it back. It doesn't help that I tease him with it and pat him on the head or start rubbing his back with it.

i made a quick fog chiller out of a pipe and some ice....

Then went to the sun room and came across my 3 cats....

i started fogging and soon all cats seemed to be walking backward to get away from the thick fog....

It was hilarious...and there faces seemed confused....

    then they all ran off....

I will try again and video it so all can see...
