Well just checked the forecast for this week on the met office and so far for my region the weather is looking good!!

So excited now... spent a lot of time and money this year and was dreading it raining and having to call the whole thing off. Luckily it's looking good!

Says rain for here but i'm not buying it. I'll believe what i see with my own eyes on the morning of the 31st.

Countryfile on BBC last night said all the rain will have pushed off by fri/sat.

I think they just pull random weather traits out of a hat and go with that. Can't be much less accurate.

Oh God, it get's worse. My area has now gone from Sunny, to light showers, and now today it's changed to Heavy Rain and 30MPH Gusts!!

Doesn't look like there be a haunt at my place this year :\

Living in the UK, one quickly becomes pessimistic about the weather for planned events and sceptical of weather forecasts...Where was our "Barbecue Summer" that the met office assured us we were going to have??

I see they have also forecast a very mild winter, which means we'll probably all be up to our wotnots in snow again, come February.

At the moment, the weather here in the West Country is positively balmy for the time of year.

...Watch it all go to ratsh*t by Saturday, though...

OK, so the big day is here. Weather in my area says it will be cloudy throughout the day/most of the night. Though by the time 3 A.M rolls around, there's 95% chance of rain, according to MSN weather.
