Thread: Finding Haunts in your neighborhood?

I live in Los Angeles and I'm DYING to find some good haunts in my 'hood' since I live in an apartment and cannot do my own this year. I'm sure, like the rest of you, I don't have time or gas to be driving around looking for yard haunts to warm my dark spirits. Anybody know of websites where you can search for yard haunts/haunted houses/ even pumpkin patches! I need some scary up in here! The scariest thing in my hood is the garbage they leave on the corner! It's great to see pictures of all your work, but I'd love to find some in person atmosphere and not have to pay $40 to get into the major haunts. Any help here?

I've never found anything like that. Usually the home haunters just do a local thing, maybe post some flyers. The more diligent ones may post something on Facebook, Myspace, or Yelp. Your best bet may be from these forums.

Well thanks Warrant! I should start a website for that. I mean... if I knew how to do that stuff I have some great ideas for domain names!

Good old Google! Hopefully you'll find something close to you. I'd really miss it if I didn't have Halloween haunts to go to this time of year. Good luck!

Halloween Yard Haunts in Los Angeles | Hollywood Gothique

I went and saw 7 or 8 of the yard haunts that I found on HollyWood Gothique. If they are still around I highly suggest the one in Santa Monica called the House of restless Spirits and I also recommend The House on Haunted Hill. Those were my favorites of all the ones I saw. Wow we should start a website for this. I'm up to starting this if someone wants to help me. I'm pretty competent with HTML and can edit PHP. I'm also good with Photoshop. I'm willing to work with everyone to get a list for different states. Does anyone want to work with me? I don't have anywhere to host such a thing, though. Unless it's a free site. If anyone wants to do this, please e-mail me ASAP! Maybe we can get something up quick for this Halloween, if everyone here is willing to submit where they find their haunts .
