Hi all,
Just a quick question about the above movie. I saw it last week and enjoyed it but, was curious to know the name of the little monster in the roung burlap head. I would like to make one for next year. What year onesy should I look for?

I haeven't seen it yet but the character's name is "Sam"! Ghoulish, I know! LOL

Awesome movie!!! I am so curious as to why it didn't come out in theatres and then took SO long to make it to video.
Sam is the name of the ghoulish Trick R Treater.

I love him too but figured not many saw this movie and wouldn't know who he is if I made a prop of him. Too bad...he should be a halloween icon.
I would go for a size 5 toddler sleeper at least.

i think its supposed to be short for samhain , most of my guests have seen the movie - so i think they'll enjoy the prop

Yeah, funny thing...
Sam is rumored to be short for Samhain, the original name of the holiday, yet the movie itself has a character that explains that the word Samhain is actually pronounced 'sow-en', not 'sam-hane'.
Makes me wonder if Sam is not actually derived from Samhain, since the writers knew the correct way to pronounce the old Irish name of Halloween.
Either way, Sam is supposed to be the embodiment of Halloween, the spirit of the festival, as it were.
