I got another fog machine and a timer today (first time with a timer). I have it plugged in but it's not working. Any ideas why?

gemmy fogger and a no name timer from canadian tire. The power is on and the manual button is working but I can't figure out why it's not fogging at intervals and stuff.

does it have the three buttons on the bottom, the yellow one is the timer on button, make sure it's pressed down, make sure the red button is also pressed down, and set the duration and interval on...

You probably know this but in case you have overlooked it, it has to get hot before any of the lights come on. It looks like it's doing nothing but it will. If not return it.
