Just felt like a whine, I ordered a Gemmy witch spirit ball from Ebay on the 7th October it still hasn't arrived. Contacted the seller etc. The Royal Mail are on strike again next week for 3 days right before Halloween so it might not get here.

Grrr I hate it when things don't turn up, so frustrating

Yep...I've ordered some stuff on Oct 12th that still hasn't arrived.

What with the postal strikes next week, I've given up any chance of getting my items before next weekend.

Luckily, It's not overly important to my haunt, but it would've been nice to have.

In 11 days, I could have walked to Glasgow and picked up the bloody thing myself.

I had a bunch of things I was selling on ebay including my daughter's old Slytherin robes an when I went to post them I was told by the lady in the post office that it is taking up to 4 weeks in certain areas of England to clear the backlog from previous strikes. Only way to ensure anything gets there is the special delivery that costs a sodding fortune. Had to post the robes that way because the buyer needed them for their kid's halloween party this weekend, but the rest of it was just normal recorded. Posted monday, showed up today.

Hopefully your stuff and my spirit ball will turn up. Fingers crossed these strikes will end soon, otherwise Christmas is going to be a nightmare.

Poop Poop Poop! Oh well -- I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you that it appears this week! Then of course - there is always next year! Besides - I bet your party pals come to enjoy your company more than anything else. . .

Yeah I feel sorry for sellers on Ebay right now, all the angry buyers etc. I've sold myself in the past and always posted on the day of sale or the morning after, if it was late in the evening. Still had a bloke email me the day after saying where is my item lol I pointed out first class takes around 2-3 days. I'm fast at posting but I can't work miracles.

Urgh. That sucks for you. Royal Mail strikes are so annoying! I'm thankful that the rest of my Halloween stuff came yesterday. The stuff I bought off Ebay on Tuesday arrived yesterday and I was so chuffed that there was no hanging around otherwise I don't think I'd have got them by Halloween with the back log!

Hope your stuff turns up before Halloween! Hang in there
