My husband has to work on Halloween night which is also our anniversary.........Right now I'm pretty upset with his work.and with him for not saying hey no I can't do it I have plans with my wife. It's a crappy job where he works 2 lousy nights a week for minimum wage ..... sigh I'm frustrated can you tell? This messed up the things I had planned for the kids for Halloween and for us. I had not told him, but I had made dinner reservations and was going to go out with him to dinner and a horror movie after we got home from trick or treating with the kids. He thought we weren't going to go out until the 1st.
Just needed to vent to those who would understand the importance (due to the happiness it brings in me)of the holiday to me which is why I chose that day for us to get married on.

thats a great reason to vent and i am with you on how you must be feeling right now , try and talk to your husband and tell him your disapointement and plans you had and see how he maybe can fix this
my husband usually always as to take the halloween night off work because he works evening night shift but this year it is a saturday so we dont have this problem .
i know work is important these days and a pay check but sometimes life with your loved ones and the good short time you get with them is more important

Yep - I agree. Tie him up
In the meantime - since daylight savings time happens - can you sort of adapt to the time change and do everything Dracula style - overnight - and be back in your coffins before the sun comes up? Could be even more fun - if you know what I mean! In any case - lucky you - you get to wake up with your marital monster 365 days a year! Way to keep the spirit alive year round! Happy Anniversary and ...BOO!" TO SERVE MAN " ... IT'S A COOKBOOK!"
