    the lights lost.... we have so many deer its insane... they broke alot of the stakes that hold my lights and spread my little pumpkins ALL over the yard.. REALLY.. have some respect!... LOL

    OH NO! I lost my pumpkin lights the same way a few years ago! We have deer, moose and cariboo to worry about. One thing I do is take old DVD or CD's and string them from the tree's, they don't like the reflections they cause but doesn't work at night. Another option is to use bear or cougar scent (at any hunting/outdoor shop) or even motion lights (you can get solar ones now that can be installed anywhere). Sound is good too if it can be activated by motion.

    We tried the sprinkler that works on motion but they just came to drink the water then, it didn't work. lol

    I'm sorry for your poor little pumpkins!

    OHHH i like the cd idea.. ill try that.. motion they would probably go. oh cool.. thanks for the light... they are out in town 24 hrs a day.. i think they work on shifts.. i have a 4 point that likes my yard alot... Thanks for those ideas... ill def do the cougar scent.. i know they arent around when theres a cougar in the area... maybe i should get a cougar.. might add to my halloween props.. HAHA...

    here he is... brat!.... i had to post my other pic so you can get an idea.. the lights down by the tunnel were the ones that went kaplop... all fixed now though...well darn, you cant see them very well.. ill get pics this weekend, everything should be done Wednesday!!!!!

    We have a ton of friggin deer on our farm. They are a pain. Thankfully they don't get that close to our house to mess with anything. They'll rummage through our garden every now and then but they really love our peach and apple trees! Stupid (but cute) pests!

    Getting another couple mini strobes tonight and i SHOULD be done with lighting... the real pumpkins should do the trick as well..
