Thread: alternatives to blacklight reactive pen; what paper to use?

hey guys i need your opinions!

for my party, it is going to be all blacklights. i made up funny tombstone rhymes for each of my guests and i plan to stick them to the wall. I wanted to use a blacklight reactive pen but its too late to order one now. I read online that using a yellow highlight has the same effect. Can anyone confirm this? Also, what paper is the best to use for the ink to show up bright? I tried it on some black construction paper and it didnt come out too well.. Thanks in advance!

Confirmed yellow highlighter will "glow" under blacklight. Used both white and black paper. Couldnt see the letters very well on the black paper until I put it under the blacklight. Then you could make out the words. It should meet your needs.
