    Interesting thought, dont know what to think of it but;

    He mentions how much money they make when its on a weekend as opposed to a weekday. Hmmm ya think!

    Halloween is any day you make of it. I think officially changing it for the sake of making a buck is the same greed what ruins Xmas for me in the first place.

    I don't agree with moving a tradition based on economics. Just because they want to make more money, doesn't justify it at all. That and I'm pretty sure this campaign of theirs will be an epic fail. What a bunch of corporate jack@$$es.

    I don't know about that campaign, but personally, I would not mind if trick-or-treating occurred on a Friday or Saturday evening every year. It would make it a lot easier knowing that I don't have to get up early the next day to go to work. I think a lot of kids would see it the same way. Besides wasn't the original harvest celebration tied to the moon and seasons and not a specific date?

    Daddywoofdawg is correct. Research the history of Halloween, and you will see that "All Hallows Eve" is the day before "The Day Of The Dead" (Nov. 1st).
