Cartoon Network is showing the Bugs Bunny Howl-o-ween special tonight. I think it's 8pm here in central usa. check your schedule. This meant Halloween was here when I was a kid. Usually you could catch this along with some other Halloween cartoon to fill an hour of programming. Not sure if this is even available on dvd.. but I've got the DVR set to record it already. Also loved the less well known "Daffy Duck's Thanks for giving special" that usually got paired up with charlie brown or garfield thanksgiving. anyway bugs bunny rocks!

In case you missed it, according to Zap2It, the Howl-O-Ween special on Cartoon Network repeats several times until 10/31, so check your local guide.

Thanks for the heads-up! This was our favorite Halloween TV special from when the kids were little. I have it recorded on vhs but no way to watch it anymore. Now I can once again see Witch hazel and her flying hairpins! Love it!

Oh, gosh, it's been ages since I had seen this special (which I don't recall being as discombobulated); I think I remember watching Disney's Trick or Treat on TV more recently than this one so it has been a really long time. I found the difference in animation quality between actual classic segments and the "transitional segments" interesting, but any Witch Hazel is better than none.

LOL, yeah I know! I love it when her face is white in one scene and then green in the next! I think Looney Tunes are hilarious no matter how they mix them up though.

Ahhhhh the classics always love them, actually watched this last night with my teenagers they loved it. Growing up it was hard to find the old Bugs Bunny cartoons on tv so I made sure to buy all the DVD's so they could learn who and what the Bugs clan was all about. They use to laugh so hard at those when they were little and I found them laughing just as hard last night
Linus: You've heard about fury and a woman scorned?
Charlie Brown: Yes, I guess I have.
Linus: Well that is nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of tricks or treats!

Watching it now (recorded to DVR earlier) and I'm not sure if I ever saw this particular one. I've seen other cartoon episodes with the witch and Bugs from when I was a kid, so Thanks for the alert! Always loved the witch.
