With the recent "Zombieland" movie out and PC games like "Left 4 Dead" where the zombies run at you who thinks they should run or walk or don't care?

BTW I screwed up the choices "yes" should be "walk" and "no" should be "run" anyway to edit that?

    I'm in two minds.

I like the classic slow stagger.

But the sprinting zombies in Zombieland did instill a bit of fear. Makes your heart race that little bit more when they can actually catch you.

To be honest, I like them both, L4D (can not wait for L4D2) added a new concept which I enjoyed.., I think there is always room for improving zombies.. except for the movie Land of Dead where they started to think... to me, kinda defeats the whole mindless zombie thing... but thats just me...

They should walk, its all about motor control or lack of it. A zombie is not a fully functioning human, the body has decayed including the spinal column and the nerves. The muscles have also suffered rigamortis.

Someone without complete motor control can not run, and so zombies shouldnt be able to run either UNLESS they are extremly fresh.

    Thats science that is.

i am completely for the walking thing im into classic stuff
but back then slow moving dead people was scary and creepy cause it was so fluid how they were slow and added to a haunting feeling
    nothing moves this slow
nothing human can creat presence like this
but we live in a day now where slowing moving stuff just doesnt scare anymore
i mean look at jason vorhees he was a slow mover but it didnt work anymore
in the recent friday the thirteen movie he like jumps and swings his machette and is faster
    thats creepy
same for left 4 dead and zombie land
if there slow moving it adds to the non seriousness and boring
but have something dead just pop up and run at u
    heh ur dead

As long as they can't crawl on the ceilings, I'm open to both. Definately think that when they run it's scarier.
They live. They die. They return. Zombies.

I'm 100% on the side of walking. They are zombies, therefor should not be able to run! It shouldn't be any other way in my opinion. I think it builds more suspense
