Previous years we have stood in front of the garage that has a display inside to hand out candy, but no one was allowed in. This will be the first year we will be doing a walk-thru for the ToTers so I was wondering if we should put up a rules sign at the entrance? There will already be a sign telling them to enter the garage to get their candy, should I put a disclaimer at the bottom?
I would love to see pics of other peoples signs or even just to know what you state on them. I was reading another thread on idiot-proofing and realized maybe we should have something. Better to be safe than sorry. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
If this has been covered in another thread, please point me in that direction...I didn't find anything. Thanks!

I'm here looking for suggestions of just what kind of rules people put up! So far I've not found much.
Anyone?

Yeah, I'm more interested in the actual RULES people post than just what their rule boards look like. I'll be doing a really simple one to just cover our butts overall. Thanks for that pic - at least we can see the majority of rules.

The rules I have posted are pretty basic: No running, smoking, foul language, touching, horseplay. There are also the Enter at your own risk, fog machine and strobe lights in use, not recommended for those who are pregnant, claustrophobic, or suffering from medical conditions. Oh, and not recommended for small children. Some people dont allow camera or flashlights but thats f not something I care about.

Mine says: You are about to enter a hospital over-run by zombies! Parental discretion STRONGLY advised. Limit one trip through haunt per person. Anyone who attacks an actor or destroys a prop will be arrested and prosecuted - Comal Cty deputies are on site.
Needless to say, we had vandalism issues last year. $400 rents out 2 deputies for the night.

Haunter has a really nice "rules" sign for his pirate display. It's simple, but beautifully detailed and clear.
