I spoke to seasonal dept today at Lowes and they are telling me that all of the Halloween will go on sale a week before Halloween. I am gonna check daily every week and see if on sale or not. I noticed on Lowes websites have already marked on sale on Fog machine, Life-size props and few others.

You guys will not believe what they told me last year! There is a rep. there that really likes me and she was trying to get me to buy the last of the halloween pumpkins there to get rid of them. I couldn't afford it but, then she says it's all getting thrown away anyways! WTF, they don't send the stuff back, they dump it. They don't have the storage to keep it for the following year and the main company doesn't want the stuff back. So I guess this year I'm going to try dumpster diving there.

We are located in a strip mall with Family Dollar.
The Family Dollar just toss unwanted merchandise into the dumpster. I have found a number of good items. Some I have used and some I have sold in the shop. I pulled out about 50 pairs of little kid summer shoes from their dumpster. They are not the best quality but heck, they where free. No one in the complex could use them so I drove them down 3 blocks and donated them to Goodwill.

It is worth keeping an eye on your local Family Dollar dumpsters.
