We've all seen them. Those bats and ghosts that "fly" on a string back and forth. They are triggered by sound like clapping. The problem is how to keep them going all night without sore hands!

    Here is the ghost version

X-E's 2006 Halloween Countdown: Scary Flying Ghost!

After last year, folks here had some great suggestions and I did get a solution in place. Take a cheapo mp3 player and some mini speakers. Both take AAA batteries. Find a sound that the bats will react to, load it on the mp3 player and stick it on repeat and zip it up inside the bat or tape to the side of the ghost.

    98% success rate last year!

The sound was REALLY hard to find.

Thanks again to all who helped out last year!

Thanks for posting this! Sounds like a wonderful solution. I just bought two of the ghosts this year from BigLots so will keep the info with the box so I remember to plan for it when setting up.
