Hubby is a hunter and we have 4 large deer mounts (head and shoulder) on our living room walls. Im doing the old fashioned haunted house in that room with scene setters, candleabras, portraits and sheets over the furniture. We have no place to put the mounts..should I just leave as is or dress them up a little to make them more sinister? If so..how??? Im at a total loss....At Christmas they all wear hats and garland around their necks, for summer they have sunglasses... all to my husbands dismay

Leave them. Ever seen "Evil Dead?" (possessed deer head on the wall was AWESOME!)

I'd string webbing and large spiders in their horns and see about getting some sort of red covering (saran wrap? acetate?) to cover over their eyes to make them look creepy and possessed.
