My kids want me to change my theme to vampires this year. I've got the costume, fanss, contacts, etc. My set up is mostly static, tombstones, fog, and nice lighting.
I'm having a hard time thinking up ideas that would highlight my theme. Any ideas?

I'm guessing that this is just a display, not a walkthrough?
- A vampire bar that serves True Blood and Bloody Marys
- a Vlad Tepes tombstone with impaled heads/bodies around it
maybe a skeleton with a stake through his heart
a bat pooping on a Van Helsing tombstone

What about building a coffin? You could get a talking vampire head from Spirit and make a body for it for the coffin.
Do you have eerie sounds?
make a bunch bowl of bloody drink stuff and have a cookie or cake molds of bats and fill it up to make ice cubes, just add some food colouring add that in the punch!

you should have cloves of garlic, crosses and stakes incase one of them comes after you!

Yes, you definitely need a coffin! Also, when I think of vampires I think of lots of drapy fabrics, like velvets and red satin. I've always wanted to do that theme, but in a more Victorian, traditional way.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAH. I like the bat pooping on the Van Helsing tombstone. That's really funny stuff. Anyway, You could have some poor sweet young lady with blood on her neck wandering around the yard with Swan Lake playing in the back ground.
