Hello fellow haunters,

We are going full theme this year. We are having an old world war 2 abandoned zombie test lab theme but not really abandoned? We have a lot of ideas and are still working. I was wondering if any of you have ever done anything like this. Any ideas would be great. We do this at my house and we charge a can of food to get in. Last year we raised over 1,000 cans. We also had over 800 people come through in 2 nights. We are open 3 nights this year. This will be our eighth year, can’t wait. Last year we made front page of the county news paper. We use live actors and air props. We make just about everything. We have a guide walk 4 or less though at a time. The guide has a remote control to activate props. That has been the best concept of our haunt using the remote controls. We have used them since the beginning and we are up to 12 props that activate off of a remote control. Every guide has one and can activate it when they think it will be the best time. We have a full scale maze in our one side of the garage using black landscape fabric that can be changed every year by a grid system that we came up with. We keep the maze every year. WOW!! You have the best of two worlds. You get to scare the dickens out of people and you help other in the process. Wonderful idea. Hope you do twice as good as last year. Ever think about running for President? Just a thought.
