Thread: Need yard display ideas

I have limited time this year to decorate for Halloween, but have to create a new setting/scene in the yard this year and need your help for some good ideas. I built a pirate ship last year, done the graveyard (which will be up again this year), and do a pumkin patch each year. I am in need of something different and exciting for the kids this year, whether or be scary or on the tame side. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Shredded Black Plastic Forest - hang 2' wide strips of black plastic that they have to claw through. Hide someone inside the darkness.

Last year I saw a swampy area, or a pond perhaps? It was dark, but anyways, it was covered with hundreds of pumpkins on stakes/poles. It was pretty much on the tame side, but it was just plain cool especially since the JOLs reflected off the water.
