    Hey guys,

As some of you know we have made a coffin bar. We hooked it up tonight and it was awesome! you lift the lid and the light rope comes on and fog comes out. The problem is....WAY too much fog comes out! That's where I need your help.

We are using the fogger we won from monsterguts during the scary christmas prop contest. Its a visual effects V919 mini party fogger. It has a remote with an on/off switch and you can hold it down for a pulse. Hubby hacked the remote and made a different switch for it. When the coffin lid is lifted up, it loses contact causing the pulse fuction to work.

Any ideas on how to cause less of a pulse? The way it's pumping out fog now, they are going to need the beer they pull out of the coffin to stop coughing! lol

    thanks!

Does it fog at all in the on position or only when pulse is pressed? If it does fog, can you measure the cycle of time that elapses between pulses and the lentgh.duration of the pulse? You may need to see if Monster Guts has a timer for this fogger and buy it also, or figure out a hack for the current remote.....

Thanks for the response my good apple friend

After its warmed up....very little fog comes out....just small puffs until you push/hold down the on button. The you get a HUGE burst. Pieter kept saying....there has to be an easy solution for this lol He ended up with fog coming out of his ears trying to think of one! So I told him I'd ask the group.

If I'm not mistaken, the V919 "mini" fogger is a 700W unit. I have a similar 700W fogger that will fill my 2 car garage with chilled fog in just a couple 15 seconds bursts. Sounds like you need a smaller fog machine. Go pick up one of the little 400W el-cheapos from Wal-Mart, Target, Michael's, etc. They should put out much less fog.

Oh I never thought of that. It's so little that you forget that its 700 watts!
We dont have a walmart, target, etc but we do have another fog machine that we bought here in holland. I'll have to check how many watts that one is. Thanks for the tip
