I have replied to two different craigslist adds about halloween items for sale this morning and havn't yet received replys. Did someone already buy the stuff?? If so take the ad down. Are they just slow checking email?? I mean who wouldn't check it every couple of hours when they have something for sale? The stress is killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just had to let it out.

I hate to sound like a dick but you have to realize people aren't tied to the computer, they're probably off at work. I could understand maybe being a little pissed off if they haven't responded in a week. You just have to be patient with this sort of stuff.
It could be worse, I had a reply to something I wanted to purchase the day of but I left for work and didn't get it until late that night. The guy wanted me to come get it that day so obviously I missed it, I said I'd be able to the next evening, he went and sold the item to someone else. That is something to be miffed about.

I hate waiting.

I've had several emails in for different items on FreeCycle, and they never posted that the items were taken or anything.

I would say as far as craigslist goes, I get a reply back for every 10 emails, its pretty low batting scores in my area. Also, I never can seem to get a whole answer in regards to my questions. One lady lives about 45 min from me and I asked if she had any photos or more info she could provide, other than Im selling boxes of halloween for $100. She replied that she hasnt brought the stuff out but remembers a mannequin she bought at costco and it was $75 alone and it was for a halloween party setup like a haunted house. (This can mean many different things to different people. ) and that she was asking only $100 and asked if I was still interested. lol. I replied yes Im interested but wanted to know more details about what she was selling. Like was the mannequin a clown for example, lol.
Hopefully she will have more details soonish.

Yeah, it can be frustrating to wait on replies for things. We were recently looking on gumtree for flats, and it's hard enough to find a suitable advert for the kind of place you want, so maybe you'd narrow it down to about 6 places, then you would email them all and only 1 or none would email you back. It's frustrating, but hey.. tis the internet, and most people aren't as addicted as I am lol

Waiting when you're in a rush for something definately gets under anyones skin. But I would give them more than a day or two to reply.
Hello, I want my book. Bonjour, je veux mon livre.
