    Old computer power supplies have both 12 & 5 volt connections. These I seem to find for free all the time......

    I've been using these for wiper motors:

    5VDC 3.7A SWITCHING POWER SUPPLY | AllElectronics.com

    To wire it to the motor, cut off the barrel connector and solder on two female spade connectors. Alternatively, get some of the Quick Connect cables from Monster Guts. Makes connecting motors easy and no soldering is needed.
