Thread: Jute ground cover on sale

Hi all,
I went to Home Depot yesterday and found jute groundcover on sale for $35 a roll. The roll is 4' X 225' (900 sq. ft.). Here's a pic of the stuff:

They had brown, gray and a sort of greenish color. This is supposed to be the 1" weave.

Wow, that's a great price!

Hum? I am thinking that the grey might be a good background fill for a spider lair.
I will have to go to my Haunter's Depot and see what it looks like and what price it is here !

Jute fabric is amazing. Very good for setting scenes. I bought mine at Home Depot for something around $55.

If you don't need huge amounts of it, Party City usually carries green jute rolls closer to Halloween, too. Last year, I think it was actually 'buy one, get one free' during the month of October.

i never saw or heard of ground cover jute before. pretty nice stuff. i use jute alot. no home depots or party cities around here

I just checked my HD...they don't see to have it. Unless it is in some strange hidden section and not the outdoor/garden section...
