Thread: Advertising for Halloween 2009

Hey haunters,

So I started working on my flier and general advertising concept for 2009, I wanted to share it with you so I could get your opinions on it. First I will include last yrs so we can kind of compare.







Here is 2009's:

I like it. The 2009 resembles looking over a hill with something unknown beyond. Another small twist might be to add the top of a steeple peeking into view, indicating buildings or mausoleums beyond, out of view.

What program did you use?

Yeah, I tried putting other gravemarkers and such on the hill, but it was becoming too busy, which is why i went with just the cross there.

I used adobe Illustrator.

Very nice! I like the sole tombstone, keeps it simple and clean. But the name of your haunt tends to get lost.

I actually like the first one a little more...It kinda reminds me of the advertisements for the old Hammer horror movies of the sixties and seventies..Some of them used a similar sort of background.

Maybe it's just me & my obsession with grammer but I would put 30th & 31st vs. 30-31. The dash makes me assume a range of dates (which is at least 3). Up to you though. But the layout is great. Very eye catching.

Me too. I would show up on 30 and a 1/2 and be like where's the haunt? Great flyer!

GREAT WORK! I wouldn't change a thing. Out of curiosity how are these flyers distributed and why? They must create quite a buzz.
