garage sales have started. i have gone to two, but no luck. my daughter went to 5 today and for $3.50 at one of them she scored me some sweet finds. the overstuffed bat had 2 inches in a seem that needs to be resewed. the candlelabra has never even been out of the package. the dress is bright orange. in the picture the orange doesn't show up well. and the hat is like brand new.

ooooh. Good stuff! I NEVER find Halloween stuff at yardsales.

Nice haul! My friend called about a sale in her neighborhood that was full of gargoyles and what she kept refering to as "midevil" masks that hang on the wall. Her husband got on the phone and told me it was EVIL old style items like horned demons and stuff like they have hanging in old churches!!!!!!!
I sent him back immediately to get them but the sale had closed up for the day

tomorrow there are 15 garage sales in mason city. we already printed off the list and the map posted and are planning on hitting them early. i hope we have luck.

frankies girl, i know how you feel for the most part. my daughter is always coming home with stuff for me. i find stuff now and then, but she really scores.

This is the first weekend of nice weather here so I bet there are a lot of sales. Last season I found an orange and black tree skirt for my Halloween tree for 10 cents.

nice score princess. was it home made? i need 4 or 5 of those.

This morning I found two 4 ft. skeletons dressed up as a bride and groom, a black raven, and two plug in jack-o-lanterns. My wife had sent me out looking for stuff for the patio but I was so surprised to find Halloween stuff!

i've seen those skeletons, that is a lucky find. and we can never have enough ravens and jack o lanterns. they make the season. nice score beast.
my daughter went out today but out of 15 sales, found nothing halloweeny.

Reminds me of last Saturday, I found a bunch of halloween goodies, (a skeleton, a machette, a neat tree-shaped candelabra with C7 bulbs(if that's the right name) )
