Thread: Exciting Charity Shop Find

Having the "Post Christmas" & "not nearly close enough to Halloween" blues I was having a wander around town today and happend upon a local charity shop. I thought I would go in and see if they had any interesting bits and I could not believe my eyes when I walked in!

There, standing on a shelf, was the most beautiful piece of sculpture I have ever seen. (And I am no way into sculpture, but this has no other way of describing it!)

It was stood there looking all falorn. I looked at it for a few seconds.....saw the price tag £5 and thought " your coming home with me "

Tell me what you think? I think it is amazing! It is about 2ft tall and made from wrought iron. It holds 9 candles and I can not wait till I can put it out at Halloween.

That would look good with carved mini-pumpkins, too. Put a small light in each one. Great find!
