    Default Forry Ackerman passes away at 92 – 12-06-2008,05:38 AM


    Some folks here may not know his name but probably all here has felt his influence. Forry was the editor of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine, which introduced many of today's most popular directors, writers, artists, make up and special effects craftmen to the world of monsters, science fiction and fantasy. He was a lifelong friend of author Ray Bradbury and stop-motion animation master Ray Harryhausen.
