I was on Facebook and saw a group that is petitioning against the live skinning of animals in China on animalsaviors.com. There was a video of it which was so gross that I couldn't watch the whole thing. When my stomach settled a little, it dawned on me... what a gross idea for a Halloween prop. Some sort of skinned something, hanging from a hook and twitching.
It strikes me as strange that I SO can't stomach the actual torture of living things when but LOVE props that look similar and gross fake stuff. Maybe my stomach hasn't settled down yet. Bleeeeeeeeech!
I guess prop inspiration comes from all sorts of things?

i still believe gore has no place in Halloween , im a ex-hunter , pushed into it as a child, cant kill pretty much anyhing now,, that goes from plants to bugs to fish,, on and on, and yes im a vegan---i dare anyone here to kill and dress a large animal and eat it,, it changes alot-- anyhoo pain is real ---and live skinned animals must feel horrific levels of it
