What a lovely night! After daylong rain and wind, the clouds parted at around 5:00 and Halloween was had under starry skies. Everything went very well. All my props and and sound effects worked all evening and didn't have so much as a light bulb burn out. My trick-or treater estimates were very good. I'd made 80 treat bags to hand out and had 2 left at the end of the night (plus the 20 backup candy bars I buy, just in case). In addition to the 78 kids were a good number of parents and curious neighbors, so well over 100 people came through the Haunt.
Here are some photos of what the trick-or-treaters saw.
