Yep. The drive by kids in vans are always the one who are obese, too. Figures.
Though, I have nothing against it really. Just an observation.

Geez! I can't stand that! Lazyness at its finest.
At least burn the calories you are going to take in eating all that candy!
Speaking of bags, I had kids this year put candy in hats, garbage bags and pockets. At least use a pillow case!

Saw lots of plastic bags here also but I guess it's just the modern version of the pillow case.
This was the first year I had vans pull up with kids. I kind of liked it because that meant they were being imported to visit.

One guy I saw was driving a truck with kids sitting on the tailgate. They would pull up to a house, hop off, get the candy, hop back on and drive to the next house.
I always thought walking from house to house was part of the fun.

We get lucky with our Drive-by TOTers. There is a big desert area across from us, so most people park there and then walk up one end of the street and then back down the other to their cars.
Im glad we have people coming from other neighborhoods otherwise we would hardly have any TOTers."kill one man and you are a murderer. kill millions and you are a conqueror. kill them all and you are a GOD!" - jean rostand

I did have one teen couple show up wit their friends.most of the guys were in drag, and not even particularly GOOD drag either! But I digress...
Anyway I give the guy some candy, who puts it in a pillowcase. The I turn my attention to the girl, and pick a couple of pieces to give her and she stands there an matter of factly opens her hand. It was then I noticed she had neither bucket, pillowcase, nor grocery bag. So I shrugged and placed it in her petite little hand.
On a side note the boyfriend at least had the good grace to offer his pillowcase to her to put the candy in...
I'm at that awkward stage in life... Somewhere between 'Annoying Fanboy' ...and 'Dirty Old Man'...
