    Default Halloween sales – 10-27-2008,08:34 PM


    From what I've heard on the news, halloween sales are up despite the economy. ABC news said they are expected to be 15 percent more than last year.

    Boy given that a few stores in my area had less halloween shelf space than last year and some stores barely carried anything halloween this year and others cleared shelves earlier to push the Xmas market, I guess other areas must be making up for it. I still did my share of halloween purchases this year buying a lot of basics.

    Well, I don't know what everybody is supposedly buying - there's nothing out there this year!
    Maybe "sales" are up because prices are up?

    Everything I have seen has been in dollars. I'll bet the jump is simply because everything costs more than it did last year.
