Thread: theatrical contacts....pulling teeth to get?

hi,

does anyone know of a place near hunterdon county, nj to get an eye exam and plan-0 prescription to get these contacts?

ive had these before, a long time ago. now its like pulling teeth to get them.

i have plenty of places to order them, but i cant seem to get a script without a total hassle, ie: extra 150 dollar charge for a fitting, or the eye doctor wants to get them shipped to them to fit first ( mind you, not the actual lenses, a pair of similar for fitting, which means i have to still order the lenses after) or the fitting charge, which includes 6 months of lenses ( which i dont need)

its cutting it close, i know, but there are places that will ship these quickly if i can just get the damn script..........

any help appreciated.............

I've purchased two pairs so far from this vendor without a perscription. They are in the UK and I beleive they don't have the same requirements as we do.
There is is small drop down to change prices to US$.

Yeah. There is no prescription requirements or absolutely anything but cash required for FX contacts in the UK.

You'd have to check if they ship to the US, but the place you get them from sounds great, just include a link! ha

thanks guys. i didnt see a site for the first reply. i checked out 4eyes and prices are good, half what i paid. i found a place in the uk, but they cost me 47.50 pounds approx 85 bucks us with shipping.

even with airmail, 4eyes didnt look like theyd get them to me before 21 days, which was too late. anyhow, i also remembered a good friend who works for an optometrist, and they also will order me lenses, and ship them right to my house, no exam or fitting .....sweet. ( no fitting, since most of the lenses only come in one size and shape )
