I just thought I'd give you all a heads up on the packaged webbing that I got from 99cent store. This stuff is brutal to work with. I'm quite fussy about having my webbing look as real as possible. I like the webbing to stretch nicely and not clump and break as this stuff did. It took me forever to get that cheap junk to behave the way I like. It still doesn't look as good as the webbing I used last year, which I believe I purchased from Michaels. I would have purchased a web shooter, but it just wasn't in the budget this year. Ideally, that's what I'd use. So be forewarned...don't waste your money on the garbage from 99cent store....use the good stuff.

I just ran into this today!
My hubby and I were breaking out the web to string and it felt - different - silky and whispy instead of the rougher and MUCH more compact web.
That crap would NOT work no matter how we worked with it. It would pull apart as soon as you started stretching it and was too silky to really catch and just plain sucked.
We went to Walgreens and picked up two packs of their stuff and it was the GOOD web - the stiffer, rougher, beautiful web that looks perfect when stretched and doesn't break apart.
I don't remember where I got the other stuff, but it's getting used for crap projects now.

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but you get what you pay for!
I bought that 99 cent store stuff last year and it was utter CRAP!!! I bought some web after Halloween last year at Big Lots and it was much better, but I didn't put it up (I had someone else do it!)

I've yet to have luck with any webbing, expensive or cheap. I don't have much patience for the stretching and arranging and removing stretching putting back and trying to make it look relaistic...
