This will be our 7th party. Not a small accomplishment considering we live in a country were halloween isn't even celebrated.
We have three guests that have been to every party we've given. Also have contributed to the parties in terms of setting the tone of the evening and food.
I wanted to give these people a special award or gift to recognize their contributions but I'm coming up with a blank.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
MsM

Name the Jack-o-lanterns after them.

How about making each one a foam tombstone. Sort of like the plaques they give out in appreciation of.....Except these would be in appreciation of "Being the life of the Party"
" Bringing the most creative food" etc.

You could call them SPIRIT awards... for keeping the Halloween spirit alive!
I love the idea of tombstones, or something else hand-crafted and spooky.I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

Even though I have always been a Halloween nut, Spats got me going to haunt my yard in his honor for this I buried him in my grave yard. (although he did wish for a catchier epitaph)

The tombstone idea is very clever. My friend was in a demo derby last month and I got to decorate his car. So, it was the undertaker, and i wrote the names of everyone who helped him build it in tombstones

If you haven't sent out invites yet you could invite people to the viewing or burial of person a and person b and make your invites out like cards you get at funerals.Hello, I want my book. Bonjour, je veux mon livre.

write a little speech and present them.

I did something similiar. An american friend of mine decided to move back to the states. Before she left, she gave me her masks and other costume items that she had used over the years for our party. The mask for the tombstone peeper that we made was from her. So I put her name on the tombstone that the peeper pops out from behind. Something like, in memory of Kelly was was 'dying' to get back to the states.
Would be fun to make some new ones for the die hard party go-ers but I don't have any room for anymore. I actually don't have room for the three I already have lol
