I am looking for a good strobe light that can be kept outdoors and possibly waterproof. Is there such a thing? I have been going crazy looking.

If not, I am looking for suggestions on strobe lights...
Also it can be battery operated if need be.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I honestly dont think they make such a creature, the biggest probelm is that strobes run hot and need ventlation, thus having air vents which allow water inside. They probably have large commercial waterproof strobes but then you are talking tons o cash...

Can anyone tell me what kind of strobes you use & how do you keep them dry from the rain?

I got a cheap one from Wallyworld a few years back. It probably cost 10 bucks. The years when I use it I bring the strobe in if the weather will be foul.

I don't use strobes, but I have a blacklight that is far from waterproof, yet sits out in the weather. I built a wooden box for it to shelter it from the weather, and to hide the fixture. Survives wind, rain, snow, and yard sprinklers just fine.

Hey i work at a haunted hayride and we use some strobe lights. Good or bad weather the equipment is kept outside during the month. The strobes generally dont go at all. Im not sure where we got our strobes but i imagine that it would be from walmart or something like that.

I just have a couple cheap strobes and I have used them outside for a few years and they still work. One has actually spent a winter outside and still worked the next year.

You can always sneak into your local airport , and barrow A few from the run way.
Build it and they will come.
