I have three strings of lights (little bulbs), each one seems to be by a different company, two are old and I don't know the companies. Well, one of the older ones has a nice, deep orange glow. The other two are kind of pale. Does anyone have any reccomendations on brands of well-colored orange string lights?

My regular bulbs always fade after a season or two. The orange ones are bad, but the purple ones are even worse.
LED lights are more expensive, but I don't see any fade so far. I've only used them last year, but I took them out of the box a couple of weeks ago and they seem fine.
They might be worth the investment.

I was just at Michael's Crafts today, and they are having a sale on their Halloween. They had strings of LED orange and orange/purple lights for something like $6, but with I think 25% off (might have been more), so that would be decent.
I thought they were pretty bright considering they showed up well in a lit store.
Worth checking, anyway.I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002
