    hi! i was wondering if some one can be some help any way some one out there has ever made an ice chest coffin? i'm have tryed looking up steps and go off of that but i have not had any luck. maybe step by step or picture's.

    i get the whole coffing making but i wanted to know what you actually use for the ice chest cooler part?

    I have actually never made one but I know how I would do it. Make a basic toe pincher, and then fit the inside with foam insulation board. (remember when you put the insulation on the top it needs to be inset or the sides has to be cut short so the lid will close. one or the other) I would use the Liquid nails foam board adhesive to attach the lining. Caulk all the seems. You can leave it at this point if you don't mind your guest seeing the foam when the grab a drink or you can coat it with Gel Coat and paint it with an acrylic enamel.

    Oh and you might want to put a 1/2 or 1/4 inch drain with a **** valve hidden at one end.
