What are the signs of change acorss the forum?

Out here in Ohio we're just starting to have a few trees here and there change colors. Most are still green. For the first week of fall it's been high 70s and low 80s! In my back yard we only have one tree changing so far and it's an awful shade of yellow brown

Here in the UK the first week of fall has been like July, what the hell is up with the weather these days!?

I've been walking around in shorts and tee and having bbq parties since last week.

Suffice to say most trees are still green, they're slowly dying. The one on the small field in front of the house has like 10 leaves max that aren't green haha.

Although the tall ones in the park i can see from the upstairs windows are a lovely golden green/brown.

The only major thing is that it was pitch black last night, i thought it was around 9pm and it was only 7:30. That was more of a sudden change than a gradual, and at 5:30am when i get up for work, it's freezing!

Here in southern California, the changes aren't obvious. A bit of pickup in the wind.

    Yesterday was 97 degrees.

Some time in October, the temperature drops to the 70s. We do get leaf color change, not as bright as in cold-weather states. I drive specifically to see the ruby red sweet gums!

Typically by now, we usually have a few nights break into the 40s. Hasn't happened yet, and it doesn't look like it's going to happen this September. The few days before fall it didn't get any warmer than 82 and the low as about 52. Now the heat is back. When I looked at our thermometer yesterday it gave an outside reading of 95. And the sensor is in the shade under the back patio...Bleh.

I have noticed a few trees losing their green slightly, but nothing major. The weather is just teasing me. Last day of August was very cool, it got me all excited about September. Then it was just heat. The days leading up to Fall were very "Fall Like", and now it feels like summer again.

Here in the ever changing northeast, it is still up to 80 during the day and 45 at night. So I still get sunburned mowing the damn lawn and have a fire going at night. At least my weeds are finally in check.
Oh, and I have one tree changing, though it may be dead

I was in northern MN vacationing over labor day and we had a couple days where we needed sweatshirts on and it wsa really cold at night. We had heard the night after we left that they had frost up there. I think the cool nights that started in early Aug caused ther leaves to start changing early. The colors have been kinda dull the last 2-3 years. My neighbor has a tree that usually turns a bright beautiful red. So far this year it has only turned a rusty brown/orange and they are already falling off the tree. We need a frost here in IA. Last year in mid Sept we had a frost.

Huh .. what? Fall?? oh right.. here in Texas we only have that for about a week it cools down, the trees start to turn then it freezes and we mulch leaves.

seriously though we have had cooler nights recently down into the upper 60's here in the Dallas Fort worth Metro. one or two mornings have actually made 59 right after Ike came through. Highs still in the upper 80's to low 90's Still running a two chillers at work to maintain the HVAC load of about 5000 tons UTA campus.

Here in WI I've seen a few trees changing colors. It's starting to get cooler out, which I have been waiting for. It's supposed to be in the 50s and 60s next week, according to the weather channel.

Leaves don't change here until the end of October. It's still about 60-70 degrees most days. Last week there was a few days that had a fall chill in the air. NICE! That weather gets me in the mood for Halloween.
