Was wondering if anyone knew of any must see Halloween things in Vegas. We are going in the middle of October and it would be cool to go and check out some Halloween stuff. I've been googling but haven't come up with much

    Me!

Ok, seriously, we have at least 6 or 7 ProHaunts every year, plus Circus-Circus Adventure Dome (an indoor "theme park") transforms into Fright Dome. Also, we have a medium-sized Renn Faire about that time (in Sunset Park).

Yes. Just exactly what he said. There is also a haunted tour somewhere (have not been yet).

We'll be there Saturday, Sunday and come home Monday. I hope to hit at least one haunt if we have time. We're seeing Criss Angel on Sunday, but I hear it's getting bad reviews. Oh well, still should be interesting to watch, I hope!

All of our ProHaunts should be open by then (the last one opens up this Friday). They are:
The Asylum -- Rampart & Alta (west side)
Castle Vampyre -- Sunset Station (Henderson)
Circus of Horrors -- 2321 N Rainbow @ Smoke Ranch (north side)
Fright Dome -- Circus Circus (on The Strip)
Hotel Fear -- 1275 W Craig @ Camino Del Norte (north side)
The Haunted Village -- LV Blvd & Sunset (south end of The Strip)
Morbid Manor -- Rainbow & Russell (west side) -- UNCONFIRMED
The Mortuary -- 2321 N Rainbow @ Smoke Ranch (north side)

If you only visit one ProHaunt, I would recommend either The Haunted Village (multi-haunt site) or Circus of Horrors/The Mortuary (two Freakling Brothers' haunts at the same location).

Hysteria City owner Scott Michael has something set up out at Bonnie Springs, but don't expect too much from him. IMO

In the past, Little Darlings (adult nightclub) has had Little Demons, but I haven't seen or heard anything about them this year.

The Rennaisance Fair will be open the 10th - 12th at Sunset Park (SE corner of Sunset & Eastern, on the opposite side of the airport from the Strip).

It looks like we will check out The Haunted Village on Saturday night. It's the closet to our hotel. Now I have to see if I can talk the other 4 in the group to go with me and Brian. I wish we had been there last weekend, Sid Haig (Capt. Spaulding from House of 1000 Corpses) was at the opening of Fright Dome. I would have loved to see him!

I checked out The Haunted Village. The night we went, only two of the haunts were set up so we got in for $12 instead of $20. It was fun. Not necessarily scary, but fun. I enjoyed the clown house more than the traditional haunted house. It was cold over the weekend! It was warmer here! Very strange. I wanted to check out Fright Dome as well but we didn't have time. Maybe next year!
